Mumbai, March 16 ( ) Popular and popular Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor took a deep dive into his memory and talked about his experience as an actor in Amitabh Bachchan’s film ‘Satte Pe Satta’.

As the film turned 40, the actor looks back and shares his take on why he may keep coming back to watch ‘Satte Pe Satta’ and what made it so special. He also mentioned how after the film ended, megastar Amitabh Bachchan invited the entire audience for dinner.

Recalling the experience of filming, he said, “It’s a movie like family and watched by people like family. It’s a really good feeling. For that reason, I won’t stop anytime soon.”

“I can watch ‘Satte pe Satta’ 200 times and I watch it whenever I feel sad. I watch it when I want to remember my youth. The relationship we have as brothers is not seen in the movie. It’s not a movie but the laughter comes to because of the reality of the film, the performances, a good script and a team who really like making this film.”

He spoke briefly about his character and said that in the beginning he didn’t have to play a character with a speech impediment. But he just convinced the director to add some variety to make his on-screen character more interesting.

“In the beginning, my character was not considered as a person with a speech disorder. I shot my first scene in a normal way, but later I realized that it is possible to make some changes to my character. I am happy with how I played the character. We went ahead with my idea and reshot the whole character,” he said.

“Our shooting days were full of fun. By the end of the movie, we loved each other so much that one day Mr. Bachchan invited us all to his house for dinner. : 30 PM and wrap up at 7:00 AM. It’s It was a fun party and also an unforgettable experience,” he concluded.

Talking about a new project, he said, “I want this film to be made again and I believe young actors are good these days and they will really do an amazing job of portraying the pictures.”

Adapted from ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’ and ‘Kitna Badal Gaya Insaan’, ‘Satte Pe Satta’ is a 1982 Hindi comedy film. The story has nothing new to talk about, as the format has been widely used by Mumbai filmmakers. The only difference is that the protagonist here is a woman who gets involved in politics and beats men at their own game.

The movie starts on a promising note and picks up time with Raveena joining politics. To give the film a realistic feel, the film focuses on the games that the politicians are playing, which makes the film one-dimensional from the viewpoint of the audience. One-dimensional, because the film is more realistic after one point, no satisfactory offer.

It magnifies the evils of politics, which the common man cannot imagine or see.

In the lead, Madhur Bhandarkar can be seen sticking to the medium but he has chosen a theme which has been seen many times in the past. Madhur shines in many ways, proving once again that they are one of the hottest names.

Screenplay wise, Manoj Tyagi sticks to the tried and true and sometimes more technical things. The climax can be well imagined.

Raju Singh’s music is pleasing to the ears. ‘Gungunati Hain’ is the best choice. The cinematography [Madhu S. Rao] captures the mood of the film perfectly.

Raveena Tandon gives a bravura performance. The actor takes on great roles as a performer, putting the right touches to his character. Here is a work to see.

Sameer Dharmadhikari makes a credible start. Atul Kulkarni is perfect, he plays him with conviction, without exaggeration. Govind Namdeo is good. Vallabh Vyas did as he went.

Overall, SATTA THE POWER PLAY is a well made film that will garner critical acclaim and may have some flavor with the genre. But a dry topic like politics gets little support, especially from family members. Its low opening and big opposition – big movies in the same week and cricket matches – can prove to be big blockers.
