The Indian Premier League 2023 ended yesterday, and the market itself made headlines for breaking records. Until the opening hour we saw that the Auction gave us three of the most expensive players in the history of the Auction namely Sam Curran, Cameron Green and Ben Stokes.
Curran went to Punjab Kings for INR 18.5 Cr, Green went to MI for INR 17.5 Cr and Stokes went to CSK for INR 16.25 Cr. Apart from these three, we saw another 77 players sold at the Auction. Apart from Punjab Kings, all 9 teams have exhausted their quota of 8 foreign players in their squad.
A total of INR 167 Crores was spent to buy 80 players at the bank; figure INR 2.1 Cr per player. The market also saw a total of 5 players sold for more than 10 million INR. So after seeing the funds, let’s have a look at the team list and players of all 10 teams after the IPL 2023 Auction.

Chennai Super Kings bought 7 players in the auction. Except for Ajinkya Rahane, the remaining six players are all winners. Ben Stokes is the most expensive player bought by CSK in the Auction and he got it for a price of INR 16.25 Crores. Apart from Rahane and Stokes, CSK bought Ajay Mandal, Bhagat Varma, Kyle Jamieson, Nishant Sindhu and Sheikh Rashid.
